Known Bugs -

The cancel/done button in the transfer statistics window requires clicking twice to be dismissed after a transfer of statistics. Windows Java Bugs (These are problems in versons 2.x and 3.x of MSJVM that impact RosettaStone: Focus on buttons in each screen can fail intermitently. File Dialogs in the Transfer Stats window are not modal, and cannot be made modal). Mac Java Bugs (These are the problems that impact RosettaStone: The note text area only returns English correctly. Trying a version greater than MRJ 2.1.3 may fix this if you need Russian).

Wordlists -

Updated wordlists to have further classifications of number and gender, and fixed some typos. Master wordlist also had some better classifications/translations put on it (eg Biblical words were reclassified); and many duplicate words removed.

General preferences now allows you to simply choose handwritten hebrew, or printed hebrew. Additional documentation on how to make your own wordlists. Fonts -

Produced a handwritten font (RosettaHebrewScript) and a new printed font to replace Ramat Gan (RosettaHebrew). Wordlists prepared in one font will display correctly in the other.

Online Hebrew Tutorial 1.0.4 -

Major change here: added many more lessons presenting virtually all language features. Made the html more easily navigable.

Font Converter 1.0.4a3 -

Changed the names of the fonts it converts. (ie RosettaHebrew now appears on the menus instead of Ramat Gan). Now converts ";" and the word binding symbol in SuperHebrew correctly. Converts "!" correctly.

Word Type choice now automatically populated from the wordlist - includes support for grouping Word Types (ie ALL Verbs). Menu's are now context sensitive (enabled and disabled according to what the user is doing) and have submenus to aid navigation. Added keyboard shortcuts to the menus. Added an autoload, auto randomise and autosave feature. Fixed bug in transfer statistics window that allowed two updates to be running if apply was pressed more that once. Made some of the on screen messages more specific and helpful. Made the frequency from/to and difficulty from/to menu's allow at least some words through if a crazy setting has been requested by the user. Reduced the number of files for the user to be confused by in the win95 and unix versions. Cleaned up some Java 1.0 deprecated API's and some of the old event model.

The wordlist has been further classified according to if the word is biblical or not to assist those people targeting, (or avoiding) learning those words. Fixed some bugs.

Application is now Java 1.1 compliant. Made the transfer statistics progress dialog more robust. Worked around some bugs in MRJ 2.0 and the Graphical Java Toolkit package to do with modal windows. Improved some translations. added 150 more words. Fixed a bug with the wordlist that resulted in quametz (short u) vowel appearing transposed with its associated consonant.
