Proceeds go to the community. It's a very worthwhile place to drop by (near the radio station over near Ben Gurion University), the Taubel Community Center.
The object fascinates me because of the African infuence in the art. I suspect it may be a memory of the first king of Israel - King Saul (Labayu - "Lion Man" in the Tel El Ararna letters). More on this at some later time.
